SEEKING
Seeking Latin vocalists to perform in Celebración, a cabaret inspired by the spirit of Día de los Muertos. Rather than focusing on a specific musical style, this evening celebrates remembrance, family, love, heritage, resilience, and the rich diversity of Latin American cultures through music. Audition selections are entirely up to each performer's interpretation of what Día de los Muertos means to them and may explore themes of family, history, love, remembrance, cultural identity, joy, tradition, or personal connection. Selections may be in English, Spanish, or another language that reflects your heritage and artistic vision. We welcome performers from all Latin and Hispanic backgrounds and are committed to creating an authentic celebration of the many cultures represented throughout Latin America and its diaspora. We greatly encourage performers of all gender identities, body types, abilities, and lived experiences to audition. Must provide own transportation and housing.
PREPARATION
All auditions must be submitted using our online Airtable form, below. Please include:
-Headshot and resume
-Please prepare 32 bars of a song that showcases your vocal style and storytelling. Reels and previously recorded videos that meet the above guidelines are permitted. You can link your video in the Airtable form.
